Diabetes Metabolism Disorder of Sugar

Diabetes is a chronic disease characterized by abnormal metabolism of sugar, fat and protein, all essential that materials used in the body structure and burning. We only use blood sugar measurements to the diagnose, because the measurements are more obvious, simple, easy and manageable.

But this current generalized metabolic disorder can cause damage to all organs, skin, blood vessels, heart, kidney, brain, often without symptoms.

Requires correcting an overall change in lifestyle and eating habits and not for example, a simple reduction in the consumption of sugar.

A. When the sugar is measured in blood, while fasting prior and has not eaten nine hours before the measurement is above or equal to 126mg/dl, even if it has no symptoms.

B. When are obvious symptoms of diabetes, weight loss and random measurement during the day, sugar is greater than or equal to 200mg/dl.

C. When two hours after drinking a special liquid during an experiment, called glucose tolerance test, the measured sugar is equal or greater than 200mg/dl.

It is a multi-system disease that affects all organs of the body, especially in the early stages insidiously, without symptoms, making it imperative to deal with the best. It damages the eyes, the heart, kidney, brain, blood vessels, and nerves.

Diabetes Prevention and Treatment:
Importance of exercise in Diabetes Treatment and losing excess weight, half an hour more, fast walking per day is often sufficient to normalize the sugar.

The exercise will help you maintain an ideal body weight, but also won the health benefits of being fit and active in your life! There is no permanent cure for diabetes, but you can help prevent or control it with a good diet plan, regular exercise, and medication if needed and avoiding all types of stress. Thus, a healthy diet and controlled with smaller amounts to avoid stress, take all necessary medicines and do exercise to enjoy life with diabetes!

The diet should be low in saturated fat, found in butter, meat, full-fat dairy products, cream and high in fiber.

Avoid sweets, salt and alcohol.
