Our body works more slowly in winter and therefore requires less heavy food. It should also be consumed as dinner before 8 pm.

Potatoes are a suitable food for the season, however, it is advisable to consume cooked or baked rather than fried or pureed, not to add calories.
No abuse of chocolate, nougat, marzipan or other desserts of the season because their calorie content is high. A good option to replace them is the incorporation of nuts (peanut, almond, walnut, hazelnut) and dried (dates, figs, apple, pear), because they provide fiber and nutrients.
It is also valid to conclude the meal with fresh juice of any citrus, trying not to take more than 15 minutes after being obtained; it loses much of its vitamin properties.
