Why Weight loss Diets Fail

"Lose up to 6 kilos per week", "@ flat in 3 days" or "reduce 4 sizes per month," are some of the false promises that are sold in many diets that bombard us through radio, television, magazines or Internet (many of them supported by "personalities" rather than by nutritionists), which do not possess the minimum requirements of a full and balanced, plus it does not promote physical activity and healthy habits.

Every day we receive information on diets that promise to reduce body weight in a short time, but very few offer real and lasting results. This is because they do not incorporate healthy changes in lifestyle and have many restrictions.

Fat diets!
That's right. Although this sentence seems absurd, since what is looking to reductive diets to lose weight and not increase, evidence obtained by the experts point to the opposite direction. After all, have you wondered why after following a diet low in fat and carbohydrates lost weight is regained and even earn kilos?

"By having such restrictive regimes not only lose fat, but muscle and water, which reduce the body's ability to burn calories. In fact, there is evidence that well-developed muscles burn more calories and, after following strict diet, reducing their size and thereby makes the consumption of energy.

Why not work?
In their attempt to lose weight, many people go wildly from one diet to another, and often abandon them multiple times. According to the endocrinologist, this is due to:
The meal plans are very restrictive and boring, so the temptation to return to old habits.
Regimes that do not allow certain foods (carbohydrates, fats or proteins) are unhealthy.
Diets that drastically cut calories or relying on food (precise and lists) usually work in the short term, but once the goal is reached, the patient does not have a nutritional plan for the rest of life, which brings back the kilos.

Ultimate goal of weight loss is to change such habits and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which means that should be included balanced diet and exercise on a daily basis, tailored to each individual. The weight loss diet alone is not more than a short term solution.

Eat Well
We realize that the only way to eat a suitable diet that results in beneficial and lasting results, without exhausting and without feeling the need to shed the weight loss plan was to change harmful habits. "It is best to identify food and educating people, which can only be achieved with the help of specialists.

If you think you should lose weight, consult with an endocrinologist or nutritionist, who will assess how many kilos have to spend, will design a personalized nutritional program will help raise awareness about the proper way to eat. Stay away from crash diets and opt for healthy lifestyle not only allows you to lose weight, but improve their health and quality of life.
