A simple oil recipe to darken gray hair
"Wish you all a very Happy Rama navami"
Ingredients needed:
- 100gm Bringraj -Eclipta alba plant juice.

- 100 gm Tridax procubens juice:refer previous post for more info.
- 200 gm sesame seed oil.
Mix the plant juices.Heat oil on low flame add the juice mixture to the oil when the oil is not hot.Heat till all the water in the juice evaporates and only the oil remains.
Cool-filter and store in a clean- dry- glass bottle.

This oil must be slightly warmed and must be massaged well with finger tips in night time into the scalp.
The hair may be washed off in the morning with a good herbal shampoo.
When this is done regularly the grey hair definitely darkens.

Vettukaya thalai ,Thatha poo --The name vettukaya thalai is because of the bulbous and easily snappable flowers on long delicate stalks.
Telugu :
Gayapu aku ,Gaddi chamanthy or Palaka aku.
Palaka means slate in Telugu---It was common for young children in rural areas to use the leaves to polish their sates to a shining black....hence the name.
Gayam means wound and this plant has fantastic wound healing properties so the plant I think has this name too ...
Hindi: Khal muriya ,Tal muriya,Ghamra
Sanskrit : Jayanti veda.
This plant is very common along roads in India and attracts a lot of low flying butterflies.This is generally a weed found in tropical and semi tropical climates.
This plant has proven anti bacterial,anti inflammatory properties and it also prevents and helps reduce high blood sugar levels.
As mentioned earlier the leaf juice has wonderful wound healing properties.

A good cure for skin rash caused by sticker bindi
Vermilion kumkum is replaced with ready made velvety stickers with an adhesive on the reverse side.This may mimic the effect of the bindi /bottu but some people with sensitive skin have allergic reactions and on prolonged usage a grayish dot appears on the forehead.
This particular cure as told by Elchuri to cure this localised skin rash is very simple.
Aegele marmalos or the wood apple tree is quite common and especially found near Temples for Lord Shiva.It is called Maredu chettu in Telugu ,Vilvam in Tamil and Bel in Hindi.
The leaves are collected after a sincere prayer dried and powdered and stored.A few pinches of this powder is mixed with 2 pinches of turmeric powder * and water.This paste is applied on the affected area.The patch disappears in a month.
(The trifoliate leaves have this deep religious significance -It is believed that it represents Shiva tatvam)

Ways to Combat Stress
Stress is very tied to our perceptions and ways of interpreting specific situations in which we are involved. For this reason there is no "recipe" that works for everyone.In our society, common symptoms of stress camouflage taking medication. However, the absence of symptoms does not mean that the stress is removed. Despite the absence of external symptoms continues to stress its insidious destructive work in the body. In fact, relying on drugs to relieve stress can aggravate the situation because, by ingesting drugs, what we are doing is removing the warning signs your body gives us and tell us that we must reduce the burden we are imposing our body.
From a psychological perspective, the various stress management strategies can be divided into two main types. Those that focus on emotion and those that focus on the problem.
The first sought to change the way we interpret or evaluate stressful situations. Suppose your spouse decides to divorce you. Instead of grieving and despair you may decide that, after all, he or she is not his favorite kind of person. This type of strategy can sometimes result in a distortion of reality. But it is also true that it can result in a very effective way of handling a stressful situation allowing reinterpret it in a more positive emotional states and avoiding unhealthy.
The second type of strategies is problem-solving strategies that work directly with the stressful situation so that it is reduced or eliminated. These strategies usually what is done is identify the problem, or generate and apply appropriate solutions to the problem. Once this is achieved is expected to stress disappears. Usually the better is a better problem-solving person may use such a strategy. For this reason it may be trained in effective techniques and strategies of solving problems.

5 dried palash flowers are soaked in water overnight in a glass of water.The water is boiled well in the morning with the flowers till a little more than half remains.This orange tea is filtered.This tea is taken on an empty stomach for best results.After a week the doasage should be increased to 6 flowers.In the subsequent week 7 flowers must be used.This is done for 4 weeks.
The blood sugar level should definitely decrease in a month's time after drinking this Palash flowers tea.
