A tip to control drowsiness while studying

Dried dates are chopped into small pieces .Chewing on one or two pieces and gulping down a little milk after,  will keep drowsiness in check while studying. This also works well for students who suffer from headaches while studying. 3-4 dates can be eaten in a day. Excess amounts are not recommended.

Kalanchoe laciniata- for headaches

This plant is interesting to watch as a mature leaf has many tiny plants growing in the leaf nodes.It is an ornamental plant for the same reason.Similar plants are classified under Bryophyllums.

Telugu - Patra beeja (which means the seed is the leaf )
Tamil - ( similar plants) Katti pottal kutti podum  - (Which literally means -the leaf gives birth to young ones.)

Some similar species are known as  -Leaf of life, Pregnant plant.
The leaf is needle like ,dark green ,succulent and corrugated at the leaf nodes.

The leaf is crushed well and the juice is massaged on the forehead for the head pain to reduce.

Carrot leaves help for Migraine

The leaves of carrot are washed well and patted dry.Smear a few drops of ghee on them and  heat  for a few seconds.The wilted leaves are crushed and the juice is used as nose drops.
2-3 drops in each nostril will make the person sneeze and the migraine pain eases away in minutes.

Nervous Tension

Nervous system disorder manifested by anxiety, restlessness and irritability. Regularly, is a reaction of the organism to situations of concern, fear and impatience?

State characterized by emotional instability, irritability, insomnia, headache and muscle. Usually presented as a body's response to uncomfortable situations, like menstrual cramps, PMS, menopause and problems. Sometimes results in poor concentration and decreased recent memory.

Causes
Menstrual cramps.
Premenstrual syndrome.
Menopause.
Marital or family conflicts.
Problems at school or work.
Sometimes occurs when you have a chronic disease.
Stress.
Some medications.
Insomnia.
Withdrawal syndrome, caused by not drinking and / or smoking.

Symptoms
Irritability.
Impatience.
Increased consumption of alcohol and snuff.
Hands cold and sweaty.
Insomnia and fatigue.
Headache and muscle.
Constipation or diarrhea.
Lack of concentration.
Forget issues or recent events.

Diagnosis
The doctor uses a questioning of the patient to know her symptoms and discover the situation that caused it.
Often, especially if this situation remains for a prolonged period, it requires help from a psychologist or psychiatrist, who delve into the experiences of the person concerned to discover the underlying cause of discomfort.

An effective remedy for most kinds of headaches

Mix 150 gm of   Triphala  churna and 150 gm of powdered mishri .
Mix both the powders thoroughly and add ghee to the mixture  till the powder gets the consistency of a thick paste.
Store in a clean dry glass jar .

Eating 5 gm of this lehyam twice a day with water will definitely improve the headaches.
Children can take half the quantity prescribed for adults.
It can be slowly increased to 10 gm a day if symptoms persist.

Pressing the entire thumb from the tip to the base also reduces headaches.
