A tip for eating mangoes in the summer

picture released into the public domain by author Madhavi
Mangoes are supposed to be 'heat producing' for the body. They are also not easily digestible. It is a good idea to soak them in clean water for an hour after pinching away the stalk. This will remove the heat producing property of the mangoes and will also wash away the pesticide residues.
